Dr. Garry Swanston was born in St. Eustatius but grew up throughout the Caribbean.

His work experience spans over 30 years and has taken him from performing as an Agricultural Extension officer in Nevis through to his current practice as owner-manager-director-practitioner of the St. Maarten Veterinary Clinic (2001-present), and is detailed here:

Dr. Sade Swanston graduated from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad in May of 2018 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Some of her favorite childhood memories include watching her father, Dr. Gary Swanton tend to sick animals in his office and nurse them back to health. She knew then that she wanted to do the same one day. She sees her job as a veterinarian as a noble profession, and had she not be a veterinarian today she would have likely still be working with animals, just because it is so rewarding.

Dr. Brian Murray, born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2008. He got his introduction to animals early, on this family’s farm where he grow to appreciate farm animals and later in veterinary medicine by volunteering at various clinics. 

He joined the SXM Vet Clinic team in 2016 on St. Maarten. 

When not working he loves to swim, scuba dive and work a barbecue grill. 

Born in Dominica but grew up through out the Caribbean. She is the eldest of three girls. Dekha did her tertiary education in England and worked up there for a while before moving back to St. Maarten in 2010. She has always had the love for animals since she was a little girl. Always surrounded by either cats, dogs, pigs, sheep and goats in large quantities. She enjoys hanging with friends and family and spending time with her furry pals at home or at the beach or where ever the action is.

He was born between the islands of St. Eustatius, St. Kitts or Saba. He has been working with the Clinic since he was very young and he is kind of our own dog whisper. He loves singing Calypso and going out with friends.
